Note: Specifications are based on the WAGO 750-333 data sheet. Always verify with the latest documentation.
Sourcing (PNP) Outputs: Switches the positive side of the load; compatible with PLC sinking inputs and 3-wire DC sensors.
3-Wire Connection: Separate terminals for L+ (supply), load, and ground, providing clear wiring and diagnostics.
High Switching Capacity: 0.5A per channel for driving relays, contactors, solenoid valves, and indicators.
Integrated Protection: Short-circuit, overload, and reverse polarity protection for enhanced reliability.
Diagnostic Feedback: Open-circuit detection and status reporting via fieldbus to the controller.
Visual Channel Status: Green LED per channel indicates output is active (voltage present at load).
WAGO CAGE CLAMP®: Tool-free, maintenance-free, and vibration-proof connection.
Modular Design: Hot-swappable (under voltage, with caution) within the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750.
The 750-333 module has 6 connection points arranged in two groups of 3 for the two independent channels.

Sourcing vs. Sinking: This is a sourcing (PNP) output module. It provides 24V DC to the load. To interface with a sinking PLC input (which expects 24V), wire the output to the PLC input, and the PLC input common to 0V.
External Power Supply Required: The 24V DC for the loads (L+ terminals) must be provided from an external power supply, separate from the WAGO backplane's electronics power (terminals X1/X2 on the power supply module).
Load Compatibility: Suitable for resistive loads (lamps, heaters) and inductive loads (contactors, solenoids). For highly inductive loads, use a flyback/freewheeling diode.
Total Current Limit: The module can handle 0.5A per channel, but the total current for all modules on the node is limited by the system's 24V field supply bus (e.g., 750-600 power feed module). Always calculate the total 24V load.
Short-Circuit Protection: The module has electronic short-circuit protection. It operates in a pulse/pause mode during a fault and automatically recovers when the fault is cleared.
Heat Dissipation: At full load (0.5A per channel), the module dissipates heat. Ensure adequate spacing and ventilation in the cabinet, especially when using multiple modules at high load.
Module Replacement: The module can be replaced under voltage (hot-swapping) with caution. Ensure the correct type is installed, as incorrect modules can be damaged.
Actuator Control: Operating solenoid valves, pneumatic valves, and small motors.
Indicator Lights: Controlling panel lights, stack lights, and beacon strobes.
Relay/Contactor Coils: Switching coils of relays and contactors for higher-power loads.
Alarm Devices: Activating horns, buzzers, and other audible alarms.
Note: This data sheet provides general specifications for the WAGO 750-333 digital output module. For complete system integration, wiring diagrams, fieldbus configuration, and safety instructions, consult the official WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Manual and the module-specific data sheet. Always verify wiring with the terminal diagram for your specific module version.
