Product Overview

The MTL 5522 is a dual-channel signal conditioner and isolator designed for interface with 2-wire (loop-powered) transmitters in hazardous areas. It supplies the required loop power to the field transmitter, receives the 4-20mA signal, provides intrinsic safety (IS) isolation, and delivers an isolated 4-20mA output to the safe area. It provides a complete interface solution for loop-powered field instruments.
