Product Overview

The Danfoss EV220B 40​ (typically ordered as EV220B-40B0400​ with coil specified separately) is a pilot-operated 2/2-way (normally closed) solenoid valve​ from the EV220B series, designed for automatic shut-off or flow control of neutral and slightly aggressive media. It features a DN40 (1½") BSP threaded connection, a brass body, and is available with NBR, EPDM, or FKM (Viton) seals​ depending on the medium. The valve requires a minimum pressure differential of 0.3 bar​ to shift open (pilot-assisted) and is suitable for water, compressed air, oils, and low-viscosity fluids in HVAC, irrigation, and industrial process lines.
