Product Overview

The YOKOGAWA YTA70P-JAV2S is a head-mount temperature transmitter from the YTA70 series. It converts a resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensor input into a standard 4-20mA DC analog signal with superimposed HART digital communication. The compact design fits directly into a connection head (DIN Form B) and is suitable for mounting close to the sensor. This model includes SIL2 functional safety certification.

Important Notes

  1. The suffix "JAV2S" defines specific options: housing material, electrical connection, sensor type, calibration, and SIL certification.

  2. This transmitter requires an RTD sensor (not included).

  3. HART communication requires a minimum loop resistance of 250Ω.

  4. For SIL2 applications, the device must be configured and installed according to the safety manual.

  5. Sensor input type and range are configurable via HART or PC configurator.

  6. When installed in a connection head, overall enclosure rating depends on the head's IP rating.
