Product Overview

6ES7422-1FH00-0AA0​ is a SIMATIC S7-400 SM 422 digital output module​ providing 16 isolated AC output channels​ rated for 120/230 V AC at 2 A per channel (resistive load). It is designed to switch AC loads such as contactors, indicator lamps, solenoid valves (AC coils), and motor starters directly from the S7-400 PLC backplane. The 16 outputs are grouped into two isolated groups of 8 channels each (Group 0: Q0–Q7, Group 1: Q8–Q15), each with its own common (L/N) terminal. The module requires a 20-pin front connector (6ES7492-1AJ00-0AA0 or 6ES7492-1AL00-0AA0)​ for field wiring. Compatible with all S7-400 central racks (UR1/UR2) and expansion racks (ER1/ER2) via IM bus.
