Product Overview

The Pilz PNOZ s3 (Article No. 750103)​ is a compact configurable safety relay​ from the PNOZ sigma (PNOZ s) series, designed for monitoring emergency stop (E-STOP) pushbuttons, safety gates, light curtains, and two-hand controls. It operates from a 24 V DC supply (20.4–26.4 V DC)​ and provides 2 positively driven safety output contacts (NO — make on safe state)​ plus 1 auxiliary NC contact (signaling). The unit supports manual reset (default) or automatic reset (selectable via DIP switch)​ and includes semiconductor short-circuit detection (EDM — External Device Monitoring). It achieves EN ISO 13849-1 Category 4 / PL e​ and IEC 62061 SIL CL 3 / IEC 61508 SIL 3. Width is 22.5 mm​ — mounts on a standard 35 mm DIN rail.
