Balluff BES M12MI-PSC40B-S04G inductive proximity sensor — M12 × 1 shielded, 4 mm flush sensing range, PNP NO 3-wire, 10–30 V DC, M12 × 1 4-pin plug. Stainless steel housing, IP67.

Product Overview

The Balluff BES M12MI-PSC40B-S04G​ (Order Code: BES02L3 / BES00C8 depending on regional catalog) is a standard M12 inductive proximity switch​ for non-contact detection of ferrous metal targets. It features a shielded (flush-mountable) M12 × 1 mm brass/nickel-plated or stainless steel barrel, 4 mm nominal sensing range when flush-mounted, and a PNP Normally Open (NO) 3-wire DC output. Connection is via an integral or matching M12 × 1, 4-pin A-coded male connector (S04G = M12 plug, 4-pin, straight)​ — cable version would be "-C-...". Operating voltage is 10–30 V DC​ with short-circuit, reverse-polarity, and overload protection. LED indicator shows switching status. Suitable for conveyor, packaging, and general machine automation.
