The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-CD-1.32 is a single-channel isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications in process automation. It provides galvanic isolation between the field and control sides, accepting a 0-20 mA analog input signal and delivering an isolated 0-20 mA output. This compact module features a high accuracy of 0.1%, a fast response time of <10 ms, and is designed for installation on a standard 35 mm DIN rail. It serves to protect electrical signals in hazardous areas by limiting energy and preventing the ignition of flammable atmospheres.
