- Signal Conditioning: Isolates, converts, and repeats the 4...20 mA input signals from the field transmitters. It ensures high signal integrity and noise immunity for accurate data acquisition by the control system.
- Intrinsic Safety (IS) Barrier: The unit is certified for use as an intrinsic safety barrier. It limits the energy (voltage and current) delivered to the hazardous area, preventing the possibility of igniting an explosive atmosphere.
