Product Description

The Pepperl+Fuchs NJ2-V3-N is a compact, 2-wire inductive proximity sensor designed for safety and critical control applications. As a NAMUR type sensor, it must be used with a certified amplifier or safety barrier for operation in hazardous areas and is suitable for use up to SIL 2 according to IEC 61508 . It features a 2 mm flush-mountable sensing range, allowing it to be installed flush in metal without loss of function . The sensor operates on a nominal voltage of 8.2 V and provides a Normally Closed (NC) SCR output . Built with a robust PBT housing, it offers an IP67 protection rating for durability in harsh industrial environments and can operate in a wide temperature range from -25 °C to 100 °C . This combination makes it a reliable component for precise non-contact detection in demanding automation and safety systems.
