Product Overview

The P+F HiC2025​ is a 1-channel isolated barrier / SMART transmitter power supply​ belonging to the H-System​ family, designed for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous areas. It supplies power to 2-wire SMART transmitters and current sources​ located in Zone 0/1/2 and transfers the 4…20 mA analog signal​ to the non-hazardous control room as an isolated 4…20 mA current source/sink or 1…5 V voltage output. The module is 24 V DC bus powered​ through the HiC termination board, eliminating the need for a separate auxiliary power supply. Output mode is selectable via DIP switches​ (current source 4…20 mA / voltage source 1…5 V / current sink 4…20 mA). It supports bidirectional SMART communication​ (HART) through the isolation barrier. The device achieves SIL 2 (Systematic Capability SC 3)​ per IEC/EN 61508 and carries ATEX / IECEx Ex ia IIC​ certification for Zone 0/1/2, Zone 20/21/22, and M1 applications.
