It provides 14 digital inputs (24 V DC sink/source), 10 relay outputs (Form A, 2 A resistive), and 2 analog inputs (0–10 V DC / 0–20 mA, 12-bit resolution). The CPU has two communication ports: Port 0 = PPI/MPI/ASCII/Modbus RTU​ and Port 1 = PROFIBUS-DP Slave (up to 12 Mbps). Program memory is 12 KB, data memory 8 KB + 2 KB retentive, with support for up to 7 expansion modules (EM series). Programming is via STEP 7-Micro/WIN (V4.x).
