Function & Protection Curve

This MCB combines thermal and magnetic protection:

Thermal Protection (Overload): Bi-metal strip trips with a time delay on sustained overloads (>1.13 x Iₙ).
Magnetic Protection (Short Circuit): Solenoid trips instantly (within 0.1s) for high-current faults between 50A and 100A (5-10 x Iₙ for C curve).

Important Installation & Selection Notes

Single-Pole Design: This MCB breaks only the phase (line) conductor. The neutral should be distributed separately. For complete circuit isolation, consider a 1P+N (S201N) or 2-pole (S202) breaker.
Cable Sizing: The protected cable must have a current-carrying capacity equal to or greater than the MCB rating (10A), per local wiring regulations.
Coordination: Must be selectively coordinated with the upstream protective device (e.g., main breaker or fuse).
