The Yokogawa AIP830-101 is a single-channel, active isolator safety barrier designed for temperature measurement in hazardous areas. It accepts a signal from a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) located in the hazardous area, conditions the signal, and outputs an isolated, intrinsically safe 4-20mA signal to the safe area control system. It provides both signal isolation and energy limitation in a single device.
