Product Overview

The Leuze LSSRL 8.9-S12 is a Type 3 safety laser scanner (2D LiDAR) designed for personnel and machinery protection. It creates a two-dimensional protective field by scanning its surroundings with infrared laser beams. The scanner is used for area guarding, access protection, and as a primary safety sensor on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). It provides configurable protective and warning fields with up to four PNP safety outputs.
