Product Overview
The Banner IM-T-9A is a safety interface relay module designed to expand the switching capacity of safety devices such as light curtains, safety mats, and E-STOP buttons. It operates on 24 V DC and provides 3 normally-open (NO) redundant safety outputs plus 1 normally-closed (NC) auxiliary output for external device monitoring (EDM). The module accepts inputs from devices with OSSD (Output Signal Switching Device) solid-state outputs or dry contact safety switches, and achieves PL e / Category 4 per EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 per IEC 61508. Housed in a 22.5 mm wide DIN rail enclosure, it is intended for control cabinet installation to provide high-current switching of machine primary contactors or motor starters.
